I first tasted Bluetongue on tap at Palm Beach Golf Club back in 2005, and it had an incredibly hoppy taste. Had a few of them that day and enjoyed the novelty but it wasn't one that I sought out, especially with ~$70 case prices

Last week however I was at Cabana's Bar in St Leonards. They didn't have Coopers Pale on tap and I wasn't in a Becks mood so I returned to Bluetongue and was quite impressed.

They've obviously fiddled with the formula since my original taste and now it's balanced much nicer. A very enjoyable drop and I reckon I'll have a go at brewing it myself. The bloke at Asquith Brewing reckons he's got something pretty close to their taste so it's worth a shot I reckon.

Nice site here, have blogrolled you and added it to my reader so will be popping in more frequently.

Cheers,
Moses.
